Oath Taken to Twilight and the Ten Nights

Among many long years that have passed over our ancient Iran, 1979 was a special one. All those days were God's days. The enthusiasm to struggle against a corrupt and suppressive regime whose main honor was its dependence to the United States swept the country. The tight fists of the old and young, man and woman in this country expressed the strong determination of Iranians to overthrow a regime in which no humanity, morality, and religiosity had any place. The all-out uprising of Iranians led by a 78 years old wise leader throw the lives of the residents of the safe island into confusion to the point that they could not portray a realistic analysis to encounter with it. 1979 winter was the flight of the phoenix of the revolution and the explosion of light. Now after thirty years of experiencing freedom, independence, and Islamic republic, our nation is grateful to those heroes who dedicated their lives to struggle against the despot.

The following pictures indicate the heroic aura of those days. They are self-evident and there is no need to explain them.
