Soheila Einollahzadeh Ayatollah Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh was born in a religious family in Hamedan, 1928. His first tutor was Sheikh Mahmud. After his primary education he left for the religious He was the Imam Jamaat of Qoba Mosque at the beginning of Islamic revolution. Apart from political struggles, Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh was an expert in theoretical grounds. He stood by Ayatollah Motahhari, Aytollah Beheshti as the main founders of the combatant clergy’s society. The common characteristic of Imam Khomeini’s young students was their tendency towards the youth and new ideas. Ayatollah Mofatteh and Ayatollah Motahhari enjoyed very friendly relations with each other. Their political activities had cultural aura. He was a member of the revolutionary council. After the revolution, he was the dean of the faculty of theology and the head of committee of fourth district of Tehran. He was a very active and influential figure of the revolution. Eventually, he lost his life in an assassination attempt by the Forqan group. Kamal Yassini, Mahmud Kashani, Mohammad Nouri, and Hassan Nouri were the Forqan members who were engaged in this operation. His day of martyrdom is named as the unity of religious schools and the university. |
